  • In Sprout-chat, a finite word list automatically checks text before messages are stored and delivered, and before display. Detected content is withheld; checks can fail and are not a guarantee.
  • The chat does not read SMS, WhatsApp or Snapchat. It has no images, uploads or external AI and does not open links. Testing requires Vercel access.

Online choices

Friends, games and new ideas are part of life online. So are difficult messages and questions. Start with something your child has encountered: how could they say no, and who could they ask if they were unsure?

A message, a photo or an agreement can give you a starting point for the conversation. The apps help you look at the details, but they cannot determine whether everything online is safe.
