What can parents see?
Saved information can be read by others with access to the app and browser profile. Agree with your child on what to keep.
When information is saved
Others with access to the app and browser profile can read local records. The apps have no shared parent account or automatic synchronisation.
Your child’s messages and photos
Check message in Safe Keyboard processes text locally and does not save it on reload. Safe Camera does not send photos to parents. Your child chooses whether to save an edited copy.
Safe Browser’s parent area
The parent code gives access to rules and requests in Safe Browser’s separate workspace in the protected test. The device cookie does not grant parent access. It does not show what the child reads in other apps. Under Data og forældrekode (Data and parent code), a parent can choose Slet Browser-data (Delete Browser data) with the current code and confirmation. This clears the workspace’s app data; a deletion marker and timestamp remain. Bookmarks and downloaded copies must be deleted separately.
No automatic sharing
There is no shared alert feed, live location sharing or hidden recording. Family records are not automatically shared with school.
Sprout-chat
Sprout-chat is available in the protected Vercel test. The test for two participants has text only and uses a dedicated private Vercel Blob store in fra1 (Frankfurt) with hourly cleanup. Accounts and sign-in emails remain deferred. On the setup device, someone with the parent code can pause the chat, remove the contact or delete the room. Parent access lasts up to 10 minutes. There is no identity verification that the person is the child’s legal parent.
