Last updated: June 22, 2026. Welcome to Sprout Guard. Sprout Guard is a child safety and family app that helps children, parents, schools and trusted adults create a safer start with phones, apps, games, AI and the internet.
These terms apply to children and teens, parents and guardians, schools, teachers, institutions, trusted adults, clubs, coaches, support persons and website visitors. When a child uses Sprout Guard, a parent or guardian will normally need to approve setup and consent-based features.
Sprout Guard can help with Safe Browser, Safe Camera, Check Message, Scan Before Send, Safe Chat, Sprout AI Guard, AppBlocker, screen time, age rules, gaming and gambling protection, image pressure warnings, help recipients, Family Map and school focus with consent.
Some features require iOS Screen Time, FamilyControls, ManagedSettings, DeviceActivity, Android Usage Access, Device Policy, Safe Keyboard, Share Extension, a local Safe Camera model, notifications, location or school and parent consent. If a feature is not set up, Sprout Guard shows an honest explanation instead of pretending it works.
Parents and guardians are responsible for setting up the child correctly, choosing suitable rules, collecting relevant consent, talking calmly about digital rules and using alerts as conversation starters, not punishment. Sprout Guard does not replace care, dialogue or professional advice.
Children should be able to understand what is active: rules, time left, blocks, why something is blocked, how to request access, who can be contacted and what adults can and cannot see. Children cannot disable parent rules themselves, but they can request access, more time or help.
Sprout Guard School may only be used with proper consent and must not be used for hidden monitoring. Schools can only see limited metadata such as school focus, session status, missing setup or app category if permitted. Schools must not see private messages, images, screen content, precise location or family alerts.
Sprout Guard Helper is for trusted adults, support persons, clubs and coaches. A trusted adult can only see limited help-related information if approved by a parent. Trusted adults cannot change rules, see private messages or access the parent Control Center.
Sprout AI can explain rules, suggest safe replies, open guides and help during risk situations. Sprout AI must not be used to bypass rules, get gambling tips, cheat on schoolwork, harass, threaten, create sexualized content, hide things from adults or harm others. AI responses can be wrong.
You may only use Sprout Guard legally, responsibly and safely. You must not try to bypass rules, misuse the app for surveillance, upload illegal or harmful content, access other accounts, disrupt operations, misuse Sprout AI or use the app for harassment, coercive control or stalking.
You are responsible for keeping your account secure. Some features may be in beta or require payment later. Beta features may change, be unstable or require extra setup. We may change, improve or remove features when needed for safety, operations or product development.
Sprout Guard is designed to help with digital safety, but no app can guarantee 100% protection. The app does not replace emergency services, police, medical help, legal advice or professional support.
If you have questions about these terms, contact Sprout Guard through the website contact form. Company name, registration number and address will be added when final company details are ready.
