Open the apps in your browser or choose Install for installation help. Testing requires Vercel access. Sprout accounts and synchronisation are not available.

Shortcuts open the app’s web version. They may not open its existing installed instance or local data. Apps do not share information automatically.

Add your own app icon

  1. Open the app’s install link on your phone. Test addresses require Vercel access.
  2. Add it to your home screen using the instructions below. Repeat for each app and, if wanted, My apps.
  3. Open the app from its own icon before saving local data. Use that same icon when you return.
iPhone · Safari
  1. Open the app in Safari and sign in to Vercel if the test address asks.
  2. Choose Share, using Page Menu → Share if needed, then Add to Home Screen.
  3. Turn on Open as Web App if offered, then choose Add.

On iOS 17.2 and later, existing cookies are copied when you add the app. Safari’s localStorage and other local records are not copied or synchronised afterwards. Save new records from the app’s own icon.

Android · Chrome
  1. Open the app in Chrome and use Vercel access if the test address asks.
  2. Choose ⋮ → Install and create shortcut → Install. Other versions may show Install app or Add to Home screen.
  3. Confirm and open the new icon. A shortcut is not always a full app installation.

Chrome may share local data with an installed web app in the same browser profile. Keep using the app’s own icon for your records; other browsers and profiles may have different data.

Desktop
  1. Open the chosen app’s address in Safari on Mac or Chrome, and use Vercel access if the test asks.
  2. Safari on macOS Sonoma 14 or later: File → Add to Dock. Chrome: ⋮ → Cast, save and share → Install page as app. Names may vary by version.
  3. Open the app from its new icon and save your test data there. If installation is not offered, you can still use the app in your browser.

An installed Safari web app may have different local data from the browser tab. Return through the same icon; accounts and synchronisation are not available.
