Checks before sending
Safe Chat can flag bullying, threats, sexual insults, racism, harassment, manipulation, aggressive language and cruel comments in supported Sprout Guard flows.
Sprout Guard helps children pause before sending something hurtful, pressured or unsafe. The goal is not punishment - it is a safer moment to rethink, rewrite and ask for help when needed.
Safe Chat can flag bullying, threats, sexual insults, racism, harassment, manipulation, aggressive language and cruel comments in supported Sprout Guard flows.
Children can choose a calmer, more respectful or more constructive version before they send a message.
Families can turn on rules for cruel comments, body shaming, hate, racism, threats, harassment and sexual insults in supported message, browser and keyboard flows.
Sprout Assistant can explain why a message may hurt someone and what a safer reply could sound like. Responses stay short, calm and age-aware.
If a message looks like threats, sextortion, grooming, self-harm or high-risk pressure, Sprout Guard can show help options and create a metadata-only safety alert.
Full conversations are not stored by default. Parents can see category, severity, time and recommended action, not every private message.
Sprout Guard does not secretly read every third-party chat. Custom keyboard, browser and managed-device features require clear setup and consent where supported.
