What it means
It can block adult, gambling, scam, violent or age-inappropriate content, while keeping full browsing history off by default.
Red flags
- Adult or porn domains.
- Betting, casino or skin gambling links.
- Fake prizes and phishing.
- Graphic violence.
- Redirects to blocked domains.
What kids can do
- Do not try to bypass blocks.
- Ask a trusted adult if a safe page was blocked by mistake.
- Do not enter passwords on unknown links.
What parents can do
- Use allowlists carefully.
- Do not override hard-block categories.
- Explain Safari, Chrome and YouTube app limitations.
- Set official iOS/Android controls too.
